A variety of services can be offered at our 240,000m² facility.
A series of automated entry gates will swiftly and easily guide you through the terminal to drop off and/or pick up your cargo. Being one of the main stevedores in Ghent for Volvo cars and Volvo trucks, DFDS' MMT cranes, reach stackers, and forklifts can handle all kinds of cargo ranging from RoRo and containers to high and heavy project and break bulk cargo.
There are 2 berths within the terminal capable of handling all types of seagoing vessels up to: 300m in length x 35m in beam x 15m in draught. For LoLo operations we can offer a total length of 1040m alongside the quay.
We have 9,000m² of warehousing in addition to outside storage, as well as 6,500m² of covered transhipment and cross dock facilities and a rail connected transhipment area.
Our workshops can facilitate trailer MOTs, repair of trailers, containers, and mobile machines. Trailer washing and re-fuelling is also available.

The DFDS utilisation of mafi and cassette systems opens up the market place for companies trading in industrial quantities of base commodities across the network of DFDS' shipping routes.
Deep Sea Break Bulk vessels, discharging large quantities of internationally traded products at any of the DFDS terminals, can benefit from the ability to move smaller quantities efficiently around the Group’s European network.
