Manchester Etihad Stadium

Learn About Manchester City Football Club And The Etihad Stadium

Manchester City’s stadium is the crown jewel in the Etihad Campus development, a major centre of football and sport occupying 200 acres.

A visit to the stadium on non-match days is a must, allowing you to see behind the scenes of both the stadium itself and Manchester City. You can see some amazing memorabilia, visit the locker rooms, and see the pitch from the manager’s seat. You can even book a matchday tour and see the preparation and workings of the stadium before kick-off.

How to get to Etihad Stadium

Etihad Stadium is to the east of Manchester city centre, just off Alan Turing Way (A6010).

There’s extensive parking at the stadium itself, with both pre-booked tickets and on the day parking. If you’re staying in the city centre, you have several options for reaching the stadium.

These include a signposted walking route from Piccadilly station and a dedicated Metrolink tram stop (Etihad Campus). There are also bus stops adjacent to the stadium with special services for matchdays.

Manchester is a modern, lively city, with history and contemporary culture side by side. Its industrial heritage can be clearly seen in the canals and Victorian engineering, and in the popular Museum of Science and Industry. You can also see the results of the city’s industrial success in the imposing Manchester Town Hall, regarded as one of the finest examples of gothic revival architecture in the world.
